STRENGTH + CONDITIONING
At Connect Health + Movement, we offer tailored strength and conditioning services for people of all ages and levels—including children, adolescents, and adults. Our programs are delivered by practitioners with advanced qualifications through the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association, with a strong focus on improving performance and reducing injury risk across all levels of sport and activity.
Whether you’re an adult athlete, a growing teenager, or a child building confidence in movement, our evidence-based approach helps lay the foundation for safe and effective physical development.
Peak athletic performance relies on strength, power, aerobic and anaerobic fitness, mobility, flexibility, and efficient movement. Just as important is the ability to train consistently without injury. No matter your age or experience level, long-term progress—and enjoyment—comes from training regularly without setbacks.
Despite this, many athletes still don’t engage in structured strength and conditioning training. This not only increases their risk of injury but also means they are missing out on significant performance gains. A well-designed program can be the difference between stagnation and real, measurable improvement—whether you’re aiming to return to sport, excel in competition, or build athletic capacity for the future.
.
Our first step is identifying the physical qualities most relevant to your goals and injury history.
We often see common issues such as left-right strength imbalances or poor movement patterns that increase injury risk.
Many individuals, especially in youth and early development stages, benefit from building proficiency in fundamental human movements, which is crucial for both injury prevention and long-term performance.
After a thorough assessment and discussion of your goals, we create a customised strength and conditioning program tailored to your needs.
Our aim is to help you perform at your best—whether you’re returning from injury, preparing for competition, or building physical literacy and resilience from a young age.
Training and testing take place in our fully equipped Flemington clinic, using advanced tools to measure strength, force, and power.
This allows us to design and teach individualised programs aligned with the latest in sports science and rehab guidelines.
You can choose to complete your program:
- In-clinic, under supervision in a small group setting
- Independently, at your own gym or home
From early-stage development through to adult sport and competition, we’re here to help you move well, train smart, stay injury free, and perform with strength and power.
TO GET STARTED:
- New patients: Book an initial consultation with one of our Physiotherapists at the Flemington clinic.
